The Global Theological Fellows program will welcome ten students each year and is designed to introduce candidates for ministry to the global church. This experience will include the theology of global ministry, learning from global partners, and exploring the impact of global voices on the church today.
Candidates must be accepted into and entering or already engaged in a Master’s degree program, working towards ordination, or be a candidate in an alternative track program for ordination or commissioned ministry. The GTF program requires a full year commitment that includes independent study, online workshops, and travel on a global immersion experience.
GTF is a partnership between HELM, Week of Compassion, and Disciples Overseas Ministries.
The cohort selected this Spring will begin their work in the Fall semester of 2025 and travel in the Summer of 2026. Participants must be available for all online workshops and be able to travel internationally without restriction. Dates will be provided before selected candidates are asked to confirm their participation.
