HELM organizes the Emerging Clergy Leadership Conference to bring students from Divinity Schools, Seminaries, and Theological Schools together with ministry leaders from the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

The Emerging Clergy Leadership conference (formerly Seminarian's Conference) provides an opportunity for students to develop and deepen connections with other Disciples clergy leaders. Students will also hear from the General Ministries individually and collaboratively in creative ways and have opportunities to speak to leaders about the hopes and dreams of the church. Additionally, participants gather for fellowship, worship, and engage in spiritual renewal.

The Emerging Clergy Leadership Conference is open to all Disciples students who have completed at least one year of a Masters of Divinity program. This conference is sponsored and financed in part by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
